Don’t delay – vote MCEA!

For too long, supervisors have been underpaid and overworked, with no real say in what happens to us at work. But it’s a new day for supervisors. Now, we have the chance to vote for MCEA as our union and take charge of our future.

Here’s what you need to know to vote:

Friday, January 24, 2025

The Maryland Public Employee Relations Board (PERB) will send out paper ballots, by mail, to the home address on file for every eligible voter in the unit. This means that if you receive a ballot, you can and should vote!

Thursday, February 6, 2025

If you do not receive your ballot for any reason, this is the deadline to request a replacement ballot from PERB. Submit your request by phone or email:

📞 Dial (410)-260-7291 to reach PERB via phone.

✉️ Email erica.snipes@maryland.gov to request a replacement over email.

Saturday, February 15, 2025

This is the deadline to postmark your ballot and have that ballot counted. Be sure to mail your ballot on or before this date. We recommend returning your ballot as soon as possible after receiving it.

Voting for MCEA is as easy as remembering our name!

Envelopes to return your ballot are provided. Place your completed ballot into the smaller envelope, marked “secret ballot,” then seal it. Place that envelope into the return envelope, which will be marked with the address for the Public Employee Relations Board.
A
Add your name to the back of the return envelope where indicated, and mail the return envelope immediately – prepaid postage is included. Write your name exactly the same as it appears on the envelope that was mailed to you.
